We can accept referrals of cases from voluntary and statutory agencies in Gloucestershire.
We are able to accept referrals where the client is still trading and has debts relating to their self-employment as a sole trader or small business. We may also be able to accept referrals where the client’s case raises complex multiple debt issues. Please see our Client Referral Policy for further details.
Our approach is to present all the options available to each client and to discuss the implications of each option, ensuring that clients are made aware of their legal rights and responsibilities. We can assist clients in negotiating with creditors and with court procedures. In all our client work we seek to follow the Aims, Principles and Policies of the CAB Service as well as the Office of Fair Trading’s Debt Management Guidance.

Please note that our casework service is not directly available to members of the public. We can only accept a case if the referring agency has discussed it with us first it meets our referral criteria.
